Clinical Specializations/Interests: Hand therapy and injured worker rehabilitat

Why I love being an OT:   

​I enjoy being able to help people return to function and problem solve obstacles that are keeping them from participating in what they love. 

How I stay active: Running around with my 3 year old! I also enjoy surfing and hiking

Why I love being a PT:

I believe education is the pillar of physical therapy to empower people to believe in and achieve their goals. I appreciate being a sounding board for my patients to understand their struggles and work alongside them to reach their movement goals. I am passionate about helping patients with all their goals, ranging from moving about their home, understanding pain neuroscience, and returning to high levels of activity. In physical therapy, we are in a unique position to help patients throughout their continuum of care and be a constant touchpoint as they recover.

How I stay active:

On my free days, I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, and skiing. On busier days, I enjoy a long neighborhood walk.

Interests:

Spending time with loved ones, traveling, exploring new food, and soaking up the sun.

Tenacious

So far, Vietnam. The culture, people, food, and outdoor adventures were once in a lifetime. Looking forward to traveling somewhere new, wherever that is!

How I stay active: Playing with my 2 children, walking my dog and when I have the time swimming

Getting to know each and every one of our patients is so important to me so i can build a trusting relationship allowing everyone to feel comfortable and at home during treatment.  Helping patients get one step closer to their goal every appointment and rooting them on is such a rewarding experience.
