She’s a Kansas City girl and will always be a Jayhawk.  With some convincing, Jessica is bound to become a Seattle sports fan too!

Because she has always loved sports and exercise, Jessica pursued a career in physical therapy (PT).  She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas before going to PT school at Missouri State University, and Jessica is also a Licensed Massage Therapist.

At OPT, Jessica loves that she is able to spend ample time with their patients.  As a Physical Therapist, she enjoys helping people maintain active lifestyles and return to the activities they love.

An avid road tripper, North Dakota and Alaska are the only states west of Illinois that Jessica has not visited.  Favorite vacation spots by air include Hawaii, New Zealand and Ecuador.  When she is not working or traveling, you’ll find Jessica at concerts, trying new outdoor activities, skiing and reading.

After graduating with a B.A. in Kinesiology from Rice University, Toni earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Baylor University. At OPT, Toni values the community environment, working as a team to provide the best care possible for each patient and emphasis on personal and professional growth.  She loves having fun with her patients and having ample time to know and treat them well.

Outside of the clinic, Toni enjoys volunteering in the community, exploring new hiking trails, working out at the gym and reading.  Her grandparents are her most favorite people in the world, and fun fact about Toni: she received a letter from the President of the United States when she was only 7 years old!

When he’s not working, Brent enjoys traveling, running and cooking. His favorite vacation spot is Pentwater, Michigan. He studied abroad in Australia and has run three marathons and two ultramarathons.

As a high school student, Jessica experienced rehabilitation firsthand as a physical therapy patient following shoulder surgery. When she learned that occupational therapy combined her passions of working with children and adult orthopedic rehab, she knew what career to pursue. After earning her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science from University of Puget Sound (UPS), she went on to graduate from the UPS Occupational Therapy graduate school with her Master’s of Science.

As an Occupational Therapist (OT), Jessica loves being able to share her skills and knowledge with patients as she helps them overcome obstacles that prevent them from enjoying their lives. She loves working with people and hearing their stories. AT OPT, she enjoys the warm, welcoming environment that feels like family, as well as the wealth of knowledge that the Certified Hand Therapists (CHT’s) offer.

Jessica has been to 14 countries, and she once went skydiving and bungee jumping in the same day! Her favorite vacation spot is Hawaii, and she enjoys spending time with her young son, JP, as he explores the world.

After earning her BS in Biology from Concordia University Irvine, working as a Physical Therapy Aide and experiencing chronic low back pain herself, Evie went to Whatcom Community College to become a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). She sees physical therapy as the perfect combination of teaching, helping people, and learning about the amazing human body. Getting to know her patients personally and helping them return to the things they love are what Evie finds most fulfilling about being a PTA. Working at OPT, she appreciates that no day is ever exactly the same and the opportunity to treat a wide variety of people.

New cultures, food and languages intrigue Evie. Although her favorite vacation spot is Hawaii, she once jumped through a hole in the Alaskan ice…on purpose.
